The ONLY benefit of eating at Larousse was that we didn’t have to wash the dishes.

He then handed us a limited menu with no pricing and within a minute returned asking us to decide what we wanted for our 3 courses.

It's flavorusome. Portions were sufficient. Quiet restaurants. Good atmosphere. Delicious Brie Crumbs for cheese lover. Citrus lover would enjoy the Duck with Orange sacuce.

This old school French restaurant is one of the best I've been too. Not only does the food have amazing strong flavours and aromas but the ambience of Larousse is unbelievable. Inside it might not be the most modern looking place but it sure feels like you in Paris, and a great homey feeling about it. The service is fantastic! If you are a seafood fan I strongly suggest the 'Seafood Vol au Vent Cardinal'. I would definitely go back!

I brought out my phone and showed him the deal ‘exceptions’, where it did not state a separate menu. He just told us, ‘this is how we do it. I dunno- I just work here. If we have everyone in the deal a full menu the chef would find it hard to cook for everyone.’ I then approached the manager who said that Groupon hadn’t made adjustments to their exceptions and that we could choose what we wanted.

Continuing to demonstrate any competence at being hospitable, when the waiter approached us and asked if we were ready to order and we said no, he ACTUALLY STORMED OFF AND THREW HIS PAD OF PAPER.

We were the first customers there for the evening. The waiter promptly brought us a high chair for our son. Good start. Only positive from the eve.

As locals we wanted to try it as our first time experience and as a special treat.

Throughout our meal we were not asked if we enjoyed our food, we were not brought water and we were not farewelled.

We then tried ordering off the specials board to which we were told ‘no’. Baffled yet again I told the waiter that when I’d looked online the menu was more extensive. He then proceeded to tell us that this was the Groupon menu and that was our choice.

costs around 150$ for two. however the quality of food and service doesn't worth more than 60$ for two. you will be really disappointed if you have paid full price. You know the restaurant is not good when the best things they had was their commercial ice cream. I do not recommend this place at all.

We proceeded to ask about an item on the menu. The waiter said he couldn’t tell us much about it because ‘he hadn’t eaten it in years’.

I asked if this was the normal menu and he said ‘yes’. Confused, I could see a more official looking menu at the entrance.

The food was TERRIBLE. Our mother is a french trained cook and her food is devine.

The food was so under par. I can’t even be bothered describing it.

We eventually ordered and as our meals arrived, they were delivered in silence. Just as I was wondering where our ‘bottle of wine’ was, he asked us, ‘red or white?’. The bin end arrived. It was only when we got home I realised the voucher said we could choose a wine up to the price of $25.
